Rhubarb Crisp

Mom's recipe for rhubarb crisp - my parents had a phenomenal garden when they lived in West Chester, PA (neighborhood now part of West Goshen).  The front part of the garden was a wall of Rhubarb, and I believe those plants came from my father's father's garden.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Put rhubarb into greased casserole.  Add 6 Tbsp. flour and 3/4 cup sugar and stir into rhubarb.

  2. Cream brown sugar and butter together.  Add spices, oats, and flour and mix well.  Spread mixture on top of rhubarb; dot with butter.  Bake in 325 degree oven for 40 minutes.
