Method (room temp)

  1. If nuts are raw/untoasted, toast them in a dry skillet 3–5 minutes until fragrant.
  2. In a bowl/jar, combine olives + nuts.
  3. Add olive oil, zest, juice, garlic, herbs, and spices. Stir/shake to coat.
  4. Let sit 30–60 minutes (or overnight in the fridge). Serve at room temp.

Method (warm version)

  1. In a small pan, warm olive oil with garlic + herbs + pepper flakes 30–60 seconds (don’t brown the garlic).
  2. Add olives + nuts, toss just until warmed through, 1–2 minutes.
  3. Finish with citrus zest/juice and serve warm.
