🥜 Savory Black Pepper & Garlic Pecans

raw pecan halves

egg
white
(or 1 tbsp neutral oil if you prefer vegan)

salt

freshly cracked black pepper

tsp
garlic powder
1/2
tsp
smoked paprika
(optional, adds depth)

tsp
cayenne
(optional for heat)

tsp
Worcestershire sauce
(optional but adds umami)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.

Whisk the egg white until frothy (not stiff). Stir in all the seasonings and Worcestershire (if using).

Toss the pecans in the mixture until evenly coated.

Spread them out in a single layer on the baking sheet.

Bake 25–30 minutes, stirring once or twice, until fragrant and lightly toasted.

Cool completely before storing — they’ll crisp up as they cool.
