  1. Mix first four ingredients together and roll into balls approximately 1” in diameter.  Melt paraffin in double boiler and add chocolate.  Melt until chocolate paraffin mixture is smooth.  With toothpick dip each ball into chocolate, covering approximately 2/3 of the ball.  Dip immediately into a cup of cold (ice) water and set on rack to set up completely.  After the ball has set up, smooth over the toothpick hole.  Store separated by sheets of wax paper.

    My grandmother’s recipe used smooth peanut butter, and called for letting the mixture chill overnight before rolling into balls.
