Cucumber Salad Damascus

  1. Peel cucumbers and slice thinly.  Place slices in mixing bowl.  Measure 1/4 cup of yoghurt and leave in measuring cup.  Peel 1/2 clove garlic and crush well in garlic press.  Stir garlic and yoghurt together.

  2. Sprinkle salt and pepper on cucumbers.  Toss cucumbers in salad bowl and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons chopped chives and one tablespoon dried mint.  Salt and pepper to taste.  Serve cold.

    To serve 3, add 1/2 cucumber. To serve 4, double entire recipe.
