  3. Strain: Remove from heat and strain out the ginger.
  4. Sweeten: Stir in honey or sugar while warm.
  5. Add Citrus (Optional): Squeeze in calamansi or lemon juice if desired for extra brightness.
  6. Serve:

  8. Iced: Let cool, pour over ice, and garnish with a slice of calamansi or lemon.
